Missing Ship - Page 2 Empty Re: Missing Ship

Our assessment team accompanied the Alaskan rescue flight. We climbed the mountain with Russian guides and the Alaskan aid team. Initial reports from the ship are troubling.
1. The ship appears to have been placed relatively gently on the mountain, there is no structural damage consistent with a drop.
2. The cargo on 4000 tons of salted cod, is mostly undisturbed, although it is noted that about 50 pounds or so are missing.
3. The crew is missing. The light coat of snow up on the mountain, has no footprints in or out. The personal effects of the crew are missing as well.

As the cost of getting a 270 foot long ship off a mountain is prohibitive, we have struck the Landette from our registry and taken down the colors. We are removing any valuable equipment and the log. Similarly, due to overland shipping costs and the lack of roads up to the mountain, we cannot remove the cargo except at a great loss. We invite the Russians to help themselves to it. The salted cod, kept in this cold and dry region will likely keep for a decade.
We cannot account for how the Elsker Landette got here nor the whereabouts of the crew. We would like to thank our Russian hosts and guides and also our Alaskan brethren who made this mission possible, in transport and in diplomatic prowess to secure permissions.

After two weeks of no communication from Knowles Star, there was a signal that pinged Mannland military control boards just 90 minutes ago. It appears the canoe, last known to be near Fiji, has somehow sailed near Iceland. No signs of life have been determined yet. The Queendom has reached out to Icelandic naval authorities and they are in transit to where the canoe's signal is pinging. We should be receiving word on their findings shortly.

Our search teams for the Landette were still in the area and we have found the Knowles at that location. We landed nearby and walked to it. It is sitting in the middle (on top of) an ice sheet. There is no sign of the crew. At least it's not on a mountain top, we will winch it back into the water and tow it to our port in Kjellstad.

Hungadada has located the HS Gemstone. It was found dismanteled and unwelded in a seculded part of a Madagascaran port. All cargo was found intact. None were missing. Hungadada will now close the investigation.

Egyptian authorities have reported a break in at the Red Pyramid in the Dahshur pyramid complex, built during the reign of Sneferu. Not news as such, except they have arrested 62 people there. The pyramid was closed and these people were arrested trying to get out. One is Anthony Mufasa, who knows some arabic and was able to call the DWFP embassy. We have discovered these are people are the crews of the Landette, Knowles Star, and the Gemstone. According to reports, none can account for the phenomenon. They report being on the ship and then suddenly being in the pyramid. We have secured their release and are arranging repatriation for all. The charges are being dropped.
What we can't account for is three ships disappearing, moving thousands of miles, and reappearing either in places they couldn't get to, or being found fully disassembled. Then there is the "teleportation" of the crews and their lost time, 23 days for the crew of the S.S. Elsker Landette. Our investigation isn't closed, but we doubt answers will ever be found.
